This page includes guidelines and rules to use the OpenSwarm forums. Our Team and administrators will assume good faith when we encounter violations. However, user who repeatedly or deliberate violate the rules, will be banned.
Administrators/OpenSwarm team members have the final say in interpreting, modifying, and/or realising these rules.
Subjects/posts in the forum
Any post in the OpenSwarm forum must be either questions about the use of OpenSwarm, replies to additional information to an question, or answers to questions.
Post about subjects that are not related to OpenSwarm will be marked as offtopic and might be redirected to other resource, if applicable.
Before creating a new thread, please make sure that you searched for existing threads that help you with your problem.
Do not use personal messages (PM) to ask questions to users directly. If you need help, create a new thread in the appropriate forum.
If you need help with a subject, you should create only one thread for each subject. Do not use existing similar threads subjects.
Do not re-use existing threads started by others, even if they are seemingly on the same subject. Ask a new question instead.
Do not post the same question in several forums. Only use one forum that is most suitable for your subject.
Posts that are identified as spam will be removed. Advertising and self-promotions are also considered spam. If posts represent appropriate subjects and only contain small amount of contend that can be considered spam, only these parts of the post will be removed.
Sending private messages to a large number of different users is also considered as spamming.
Do not ask for personal information.
If a user spams regularly, this user will be banned from our forums permanently.

Users are allowed to add images that contribute to a subject. They must help to explain a problem or solution. Images presenting inappropriate content will be removed.
Only create links to content where you are the copyright holder or have permission from the copyright holder.
Please do not use obscene, lewd, filthy, or excessively violent language.
Do not harass, insult, taunt, provoke, demean, or personally attack other members.
Personal and Sensitive Information
Do not, under any circumstances, post personal or sensitive information. Any personal or sensitive information will be removed to protect your privacy.
Any information, provided or requested, on how to illegally obtain copyrighted materials is forbidden in OpenSwarm forums.
